The newly–designed needle bearing Elite Competition Bars, made from the highest grade American steel with an exclusive hard satin chrome finish, are case hardened to 216,000 psi yield strength and 260,000 psi tensile strength. Bar sleeves are machined-finished with needle bearings for reduced friction and fitted with an additional machined inner sleeve which provides protection and smooth rotation of the outer sleeve. Bars are calibrated and weighed to be accurate to within +0.1% and –0.05% with a straightness tolerance of +/– .020 “TIR”.
